Parking
Parking can be tricky. There are metered street spots, but they are few.
Here’s what we recommend: We are fortunate to be able to park at the Education Minnesota Building. As we are gathering in this space both before and after meeting with legislators, parking in the lot behind the building makes the most sense. Plus, it’s FREE.
If mobility is a concern, please connect with us and we will find workable solutions for ALL.
The Education Minnesota Building is located at 41 Sherburne Ave., St. Paul. This building is one block north of the Capitol, three blocks from the Centennial Building where the state House is officed this session, and about a half block north and east of the Senate Building. The parking lot for the Education Minnesota Building is just behind and north of the building, with quite a few spaces, plus there is a parking lot across the street, east of the building.
In the unfortunate event that Education Minnesota’s lot is full, you can park in Lot Q.

Public Transportation
Public Transportation to the Capitol is, in a word, awesome. Multiple bus lines as well as the light rail converge on
University Avenue and Rice Street also known as Capitol/Rice Street Station.
